Fish & Shrimp Tacos!!

Yields1 Serving

1.50 lbs Cod, Mahi, Grouper or any fry worthy fish
1 lb Medium Florida Pink Shrimp
 2 qts Vegetable Oil
1 Beer (Bud, Bud Lights, etc...)
 1 cup All Purpose Flour
 1 Bunch Cilantro
 ½ cup Diced Jalepenos
 ½ cup Diced Red Onion
 ½ cup Diced Tomato
 ½ cup Roasted Corn
 1 Lime cut into wedges
 ½ cup Mayo
 1 tbsp Sriracha
 ½ tbsp Chipotle Sauce
 1 tbsp Old Bay
1 Package Fajita size corn tortillas
 Salt
 Pepper

1

Heat oil to 350-375 degrees. Be very careful with hot oil.

2

In a medium mixing bowl, mix flour and Old Bay together.

3

Add beer and mix until smooth. You want the batter to be a little runny. If it’s too thick, the batter will hold too much oil.

4

Cut fish into manageable sizes and fry until golden brown, usually 5-8 minutes.

5

In a small mixing bowl combine mayo, Sriracha and Chipotle sauce and mix until thoroughly incorporated.

6

Heat tortillas over an open flame if possible, or directly on your stoves burner being careful not to burn. You want a little charring.

7

Put a layer of fish and shrimp then top with your favorite goodies, finishing with a squirt of sauce and a squeeze of fresh lime.
